Stepping by Time Steps
Thenext command executes the remaining blocks in the current time step. In effect, it enables you to advance the simulation to the next time step with a single command. This is convenient when you know that nothing of interest happens in the remainder of the current time step. After advancing the simulation to the next time step, the debugger breaks at the first block in the model's sorted list. For example, entering next after starting the vdp model in debug mode causes the following message to appear in the MATLAB command window.
