Configuring Events and Actions
Data acquisition tasks are based on events. An event occurs at a particular time after a condition is met and may result in one or more actions. The events associated with analog input objects are:A block of data is available for processing in the MATLAB workspace
A predefined amount of time passed
A start or stop function was issued
A trigger occurred
A runtime error occurred. Runtime errors include timeouts and hardware errors incurred while acquiring data. These errors are distinguished from configuration errors.
A channel group member experienced an over-range condition
Data was missed by the engine
