

Installing Centrus Desktop

To install Centrus Desktop, please follow the steps below:

1) Run the setup.exe file located in the Business Analyst Service 
   Pack \Centrus2 folder.

2) After installing the software, the setup will ask you if you have
   received a license file from Sagent.  Click Yes and browse to the
   Service Pack \Centrus2 folder.  Double-click on the \Centrus2 
   folder to open it, and click OK.  Please make sure that you see
   the \Centrus2 folder open in the browser, or the setup will not 
   properly locate the license file.



Setting Configuration Data Paths

There are certain data files that are used by Centrus Desktop during
the geocoding process.  The paths to these files must be specifed in
the Configuration dialog before geocoding can occur.  If you are 
accessing Centrus Desktop through the Business Analyst Customer/Store 
Review Geocoding dialog, then these paths will automatically be set 
for you.  If you are using Centrus Desktop outside of Business Analyst
(through the Windows Start menu), then these paths may not already be 
set.  To set the paths, open the Configuration dialog from the File
pull-down menu.  Then set the following paths below.


Default Data Search Path(s):

C:\Program Files\Centrus\Centrus2\Data;<path to BA data>\Sagent Geocoding Data

	Note - <path to BA data> is the full path to where you 
	       installed the Business Analyst data (i.e. C:\BA_data).


ZIP Code Centroid File (US.Z9):


C:\arcgis\arcexe83\Business Analyst\Datasets\Generalized Data USA\us.z9

	Note - If "ZIP Code Centroid File (US.Z9):" is not shown, click
	       the Advanced button to expand the dialog.

	       If the above path is not where you have ArcGIS
	       installed, simply change it to the correct path.
