Map text is designed for use in presentations. Similar to a note it allows you to put textual information on the map.

Click the Map text button

and click a geographic location on the map to position the text, then type in the text you want to display.

Use the Map Text tools to adjust the position and Format of the Map Text.

Note   Map Text has a geographic coordinate and keeps its place on the map when the map is panned. Map text does not scale with changes in mapscale. It is designed to be used in presentations at specific views as specified by a slide.
