Enabling Strict Boolean Type Checking
By default, Simulink detects but does not signal an error when it detects that double signals are connected to block that preferboolean input. This ensures compatibility with models created by earlier versions of Simulink that support only double data type. You can enable strict boolean type checking by unchecking the Relax boolean type checking option on the Diagnostics page of the Simulation Parameters dialog box (see "The Diagnostics Page").
