Configuring Events and Actions
Data acquisition tasks are based on events. An event occurs at a particular time after a condition is met and may result in one or more actions. The events associated with analog output objects are:A predefined amount of data has been output.
A predefined amount of time passed.
A start or stop command was issued.
A trigger occurred.
A runtime error occurred. Runtime errors include timeouts and hardware errors incurred while converting data. These errors are distinguished from configuration errors.
Data was missed by the engine.
