Events and Actions
In general, data acquisition tasks are based on events. An event occurs at a specific time after a condition is met. Some of the event types supported by the Data Acquisition Toolbox include errors, triggers, action events, and start and stop events. Some of these events are described below. Events may result in one or more actions. For example, all the event types mentioned above have the action of calling an associated property, which in turn can execute an M-file function that you specify.
