How to import National Species Names?

A source of national species names should be a simple text file i unicode format, which will consists of two fields: latin species name, national species name. The separator dividing these fields should be comma or semi-colon.

An example with semi-colon separator and Chinese language:

An example with comma separated fields and Japanese language: < /FONT>

or the version with Russian Cyrillic letters:

This file can contain not only native names, and any commentaries in the national language. It can be imported into the JUICE file through the menu <File> and <Import> and <National Species Names>where appropriate filter should be selected.

When are National Species Names visible on the display?

The test file with Chinese species names is available here.

Once when national species names are imported, they are saved every time with your file. They are visible in the field 'Species Data'. During the work with the program it could be necessary to use this field for any other species information. After some analysis or sorting of species according to 'Species data' field national species names can be restored by the menu:

<Species>and <Species Data>and <National Species Names or Commentaries>

How to edit National Species Names?

When you will use the double-click on any species names, the edit form will be displayed on your screen. If you have the 'National species name' displayed on the screen in 'Species data' field, please, correct only the 'National Species Names or commentaries' field. After the all species will be edited, select the function:

<Species>and <Species Data>and <National Species Names or Commentaries>
