Building from Source

Download the latest release tarball from the sourceforge mirrors 
(release notes):

    gnome-subtitles-1.2.tar.gz

To build:

	Extract with `tar xvfz gnome-subtitles-X.Y.Z.tar.gz'
	Build with `./configure' followed by `make'
	To try the program without installing it, `cd' to the `build' 
	  dir and run `mono gnome-subtitles.exe'
	Install with `make install'
	Run with `gnome-subtitles' or use the icon in the Gnome Menu
