System Requirements

Windows

- For version 5.8.2 at least Windows XP SP3 or Vista
- For version >= 6.x  Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10.
- On Windows 7 and earlier, you may need to install the .NET Framework
  4.0 first.

Linux

You will need to install the following packages.
- mono-devel (5.17 or later) Older versions of Mono may work with some
  issues.
- sane-utils
- tesseract-ocr for OCR
- tesseract-ocr-LANG where LANG is the 3-letter language code
